Did you know that metal-wheeled ‘Roll-Off’ dumpsters can cause thousands of dollars in driveway damage? I found out the hard way.
During my 43 years in 24-hour water damage mitigation, I once ordered a ‘Roll-Off’ dumpster for demolition debris. Unfortunately, it caused significant damage to my customer’s driveway in Bloomfield Hills. That’s when I first heard about dumpsters with rubber tires.
After that experience, I made sure to only use rubber tire dumpsters. A few years later, I transitioned into a new career offering Driveway Friendly ‘Rubber Tire’ Dumpsters so I could help prevent that from happening to someone else.
Within just a few weeks of starting my new business, a homeowner met outside for his dumpster delivery. He pointed to his new cement driveway and said, ‘See that 10-foot gouge? That’s from a Roll-Off dumpster.’
Then he looked at my Driveway Friendly Dumpster with rubber tires and said, ‘You’re going to be busy, son. I’ll never order a Roll-Off again!’
